Collaborative Professionals NSW Inc

What we do

CPNSW Inc. is a not for profit state organisation. Our members help people resolve their disputes without going to court. They include lawyers, financial experts, mediators, mental health professionals, and social workers. Our members are all specifically trained in the Collaborative Practice method and often form practice groups in their local areas to develop their skills, network and work together on legal disputes for their clients.

We are the voice for our NSW members in the national organisation: AACP—Australian Association of Collaborative Professionals.

CPNSW hosts regular networking events and promotes training and information for the public about Collaborative Practice.

We started in 2006 and have grown to a healthy and happy community of like minded professionals who relish using our skills in a different and often more satisfying way to get results for our clients out of court.

Governed by an elected and voluntary Board, we:

Set standards

We set the standards for those who wish to practice as collaborative professionals.

Set guidelines

Develop precedents

We develop precedents, practice tips, and other resources which can be found in our members only section.

Provide Support

Promote uptake
